Project scope checklist

A practical list of the property details that make a striping request easier to review.

A useful request does not need perfect measurements. It should identify the property, the markings under discussion, and the conditions that may affect access or timing. Use this checklist before sending your inquiry.

Property and point of contact

  • Property address or the nearest cross streets.
  • Who can answer site questions and approve the scope.
  • Whether the lot is active during business hours, overnight, or both.

Work to review

  • Existing markings to refresh, remove, or change.
  • Approximate space count if known; a rough range is useful.
  • Arrows, stalls, loading areas, fire lanes, accessible parking markings, or other specialty markings that need discussion.
  • Any site plan, marked-up photo, or previous scope that can help explain the request.

Access and timing

  • Areas that must stay open for tenants, customers, deliveries, or emergency access.
  • Gates, parking controls, loading windows, and contacts needed for access.
  • A preferred work window, with flexibility if the scope requires review.

The checklist helps start a review. It is not a quote, design approval, code determination, or confirmed schedule.
